    Default Looking for drivers for iFIX communicaiton

    1.
    Is there a driver for Mitsubishi Q02HCPU PLC with Ethernet communication protocol?

    2.
    Is there any special communication software required between the Mitsubishi iFix driver and the PLC? Is it dependent on the com card that maybe be used?

    Hi Cindy

    The GE Mitsubishi drivers don’t support these models in list. GE uses and recommends third party drivers for Mitsubishi. You need to check with vendor if these models are supported or not.

    But my suggestion will be to go for OPC and you have to main options

    1- iFIX > OPC Client > Mitsubishi OPC server > PLC

    2- iFIX > Kepware OPC Mitsubishi Server (Ethernet) > PLC

    I want to connect iFIX with Q03UDE Mitsu PLC via Ethernet, I look for on the internet and see at: http://www.automationmedia.com/AutomationForum/showthread.php?t=14



    Can you training for me the solution communication with case [1]. I can not see the “Mitsubishi OPC server” any where on the internet. Help me!!!

    Post Q03UDE Mitsu PLC - Mitsubishi OPC SERVER

    Hao,
    You need to contact your PLC manufacturar for getting OPC server. In this case contact Mitsubishi for getting OPC server.
